Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley visits Brent to launch A New Met for London: Phase 2 |
||
We were proud to welcome the Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley to Brent to launch A New Met for London: Phase 2. This was the first of 32 events talking place in all London Boroughs to talk about community crime fighting and our plan for the next three years, and the next steps in achieving our mission of More Trust, Less Crime and High Standards.
Together, we reaffirmed our shared commitment to keeping our community safe, listening to residents concerns and working in partnership to address the issues that matter to you most. A special thank you to Susannah for her continued leadership and support as the Preston Ward Panel Chair raising the concerns of Preston residents.
As Sir Robert Peel, the founder of the Metropolitan Police Service said “The Police are the public and the public are the police”. This principle continues to guide our work today.
This is why the Preston Ward Panel plays such a vital role in shaping local policing priorities. If you live in Preston, why not get involved? It's your opportunity to have a direct say in tacking issues in Preston.
If you want to know more about the ward panel, please reply to message and we can guide you on how to join.
